Engaging the American Past

Links

These links have not been systematically evaluated by Engaging the American Past members or staff and a link on any of our pages should not be considered an endorsement by the program or its partners, particularly since content can change rapidly. However, teachers interested in history may well find useful resources and opportunities on the following sites. Teachers involved in Engaging the American Past may also be interested in what teachers in other Teaching American History grant funded programs are doing throughout the nation.

The Public History Resource Center, which describes itself as "an academic metasite devoted to curating the field of public history as it is practiced online," offers this set of criteria for evaluating public history websites: http://www.publichistory.org/reviews/rating_system.html
