Elementary teachers interested in participating are asked to complete the application form and consent form and return it to ESD 112 by January 30, 2004.
Middle school and high school teachers who participated in the 2003 series are automatically eligible for participation, and should complete this form to register for the 2004 Dinner Colloquia series.
Preference for teachers new to the program in 2004 will be given to teachers in 3rd, 4th and 5th grade classrooms, and the pedagogy approaches discussed in the series will reflect this priority. However, teachers in other grades with a passion for American history are invited to apply and will be considered depending on the availability of resources. Eligible candidates will:
- Teach in one of the 30 districts served
by ESD 112
- Regularly teach American history in their
classrooms
- Commit to learning American history
- Commit to using what is learned in the
classroom
- Commit to attending five Dinner Colloquia
